On June 13, 2022, Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE) had a meeting with Aix-Marseille University (AMU, France) on the implementation of the contents signed by the two sides for training cooperation.

The participants from AMU included Prof. Marc Daniel, lecturer of Polytech Marseille; Mrs. Claudia Frydman – Deputy Director for Research of Polytech Marseille; Mrs. Blanche Dalloz – Deputy Director for International Affairs of Polytech Marseille. On VLUTE’s side, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hung Phi – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung – President of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Ky – Vice Rector, and leaders from relevant departments and faculties warmly welcomed the delegation.

The two sides concretized many cooperation contents

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hung Phi – Rector said that in the third quarter of 2019, VLUTE developed a cooperation program with AMU to develop programs for Master’s and Doctoral training programs. However, because of the complicated situation of the Covid 19 epidemic, disrupting the cooperation between the two sides, until today, the University had the opportunity to welcome the delegation of AMU to visit VLUTE and continue to develop the agreed contents. The Rector also shared that during the difficult epidemic situation, the University still received enthusiastic support from Prof. Marc Daniel, and hoped that in the near future the two sides would cooperate to develop comprehensively in all fields of training of the University, thereby, promoting international cooperation and effective exchange between VLUTE and AMU.

At the meeting session, the two universities exchanged views on research and training activities, focusing on exchange programs for students and lecturers, ensuring expertise in education, technology and engineering. In addition, the two sides enhanced exchanges and cooperation in multidisciplinary fields being trained at VLUTE related to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology, Faculty of Electrical-Electronics Engineering Technology, Faculty of Applied Biological Science, Faculty of Economics – Law, etc.
