IMPLEMENTATION OF A COOPERATION PLAN WITH AVESTOS GROUP – GERMANY


On February 9, 2023, Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE) had a meeting with leaders, vocational training experts, AVESTOS Group (Germany) to implement the contents according to the plan to organize an additional practical course in Automotive Technology.

Representatives from AVESTOS Group were Mr. Matthias Kaiser – President of AVESTOS Vocational Training Association, Mr. Klaus Michel – Managing Director of AVESTOS Group, Ms. Antje Marianne Strauch – Project Manager of AVESTOS Vocational Training Association, Mr. Olaf Gerhard Gunter Hollandt – Specialist in Automotive Technology, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Ngoc – Project Manager of AVESTOS Vocational Training Association.

VLUTE representatives consisting of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Ky – Vice Rector and leaders of functional departments and faculties such as Department of Academic Affairs, Department of Scientific Management and International Cooperation, Department of Student Affairs, Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical – Electronics Engineering Technology, warmly welcomed the delegation.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Ky said that the relationship between the University and AVESTOS has been established through the working sessions between the two sides in recent years, with the desire to jointly build a training program, focusing on vocational practical skills according to German standards, especially in Automotive Engineering Technology, and in the future, Mechanical Engineering. This is a good opportunity for VLUTE students to be able to work after graduation in Germany and European countries.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Klaus Michel expressed that he would support the University in supplementing and updating the training program, and providing professional support as well as equipment conditions to be able to build and organize a successful and effective course.

During the meeting, AVESTOS directly observed the existing training equipment of the University, discussed about the current training program, thereby serving as a basis to develop detailed plans to support courses so that VLUTE students can work in Germany after graduation.
