FUNCTIONS – MISSIONS
– Building, managing and developing human resources in the Faculty of Electrical -Electronics Engineering Technology;
– Developing and proposing to amend and complete training programs and curricula of training systems under the Faculty’s management;
– Implementing training plans for undergraduate and college levels in the following fields: Electrical – Electronics Engineering Technology, Automation and Control Engineering Technology; and occupations: Industrial Electricity, Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology, Mechatronics at vocational college level.
– Carrying out scientific and technological activities.
FACILITIES
After a period of development, especially with the investment of the governing ministry, the General Department of Vocational Training and the University, the Faculty of Electrical – Electronics Engineering Technology received investment from the National Project, the target programs on development of human resources and facilities for training. Up to now, the Faculty’s facilities are quite modern and diverse in types. Projects and target programs that the Faculty has received such as Vocational Technical Education Project (2000-2005), National Target Program in 2008, 2010, 2013.
In 2014, the Faculty of Electrical – Electronics Engineering Technology received the target program “Innovation and development of vocational training” to invest in experimental equipment for electronics, power electronics and microcontrollers. Currently, there are 18 laboratories and practice rooms in the Faculty, including: Electrical Machines laboratory, Electric drive laboratory, PLC1, PLC2 practice room, advanced practice room, etc.
DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION
– Planning and implementing professional training, learning to improve qualifications for lecturers to meet the university’s qualification standards.
– Developing a complete curriculum for the modules in the training program at the undergraduate or college levels to meet the development requirements of science and technology and be suitable with the reality of the University and the locality.
– Organizing scientific seminars, increasing participation in scientific research at all levels to meet the level of a specialized faculty in the university.
– Researching, studying and organizing the implementation of teaching and pedagogical training for lecturers to meet the requirements of teaching under the credit system.
– Mobilizing all lecturers in the Faculty to increase effective exploitation of equipment invested in Target Projects and Programs, and manufacturing standard self-made teaching models to meet the needs of teaching according to the credit system and vocational training.
– Strengthening cooperation in scientific research and international cooperation is one of the goals that the Faculty must achieve in the coming time to respond to the development of science and technology today.
